APPRECIATED it now.

I just graduated last April 15 and I am having my first (and hopefully only) work right now.

When I was a student, my classmates and I always rant about having our reports and our teacher/professor won't teach us. Some actually said that they are just lazy teaching us. Half of myself is agreeing. 


When I was a student, groupings were common. We were always grouped in a team. One is a leader and the rest are the members. There were conflicts, bondings and a lot of realizations. 


When I was a student, I always took tests examinations and defenses. I was graded by my performance but more on my character. There were top and not so top students.


And the great thing is all of those experiences that I didn't appreciate in my schooling days are my weapons in this phase of my life where I am right now.


I am confident when speaking up in front of people in meetings. I just managed to face four managers for my presentation last September 29. I was teary eyed (and shocked about it) but I was able to deliver a "lively" (the adjective they used) report about myself, my performances and experiences.

I know how to handle different types of people, to be able blend with them and to be able to adapt on this new environment and processes.

Capacity and character are being graded just like in the school days. I know how to defend myself and my doings.


Indeed, "school is the training ground". When I first heard this, honestly, I didn't believe it.
But now, it is all happening. It is true. It was a training. It was a lesson learned and now I'm using it.

Thank you, St. James College of QC for the strong foundation. Thank you, Quezon City Science HS for believing in me and for making me feel special and that I was one of the best. Thank, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for the life changing experiences.

And most of all, thank you to those teachers and professors who taught me. I know some of them won't remember my name but I am grateful in everything you taught me in school.



I appreciate it all now.

If I'm gonna describe my life for the past 30 days, it will be a "celebration".

Ofcourse, there were "off" days when I was stressed, when I'm missing my love... I got those days actually but mostly I had a very wonderful life. :]

Lets start off on my work!

August 13 - Unix ALU L1 Get Together @ Macapagal Seaside

This was a saturday so I had work (you can see my hp laptop on the right of the pic) but it didn't stop me from attending this event! :]

I was with my fellow L1s with our manager. I ate a lot! It's not because I'm hungry, but I so love seafood! :P We had videoke and Pinoy Henyo. It was all fun.

August 15 - Levi's 21st Birthday

Yey! Levs spent his birthday one day BEFORE his birthday because a Tuesday is a working day for me. (His actual birthday is August 16) So I have 2 gifts for him. One of them is this Green Tea chocolate cake from Breadtalk. Yes, it was a very unique design and taste that's why I bought it for him. It's something new! I also gave him a reversible belt (that can be black or brown, depends on him) plus a card and love letter. :P

Then the second one is online/picture gift that I called "The 21 things I love about Levi". I printed it and housed it in a Papemelroti box. My fb friends loved my unique idea and ofcourse, my honey loved it! He even cried for joy! ;)

Then the day ended with a dinner @ President, SM North Annex. We ate a lot! Just look our picture! We swept all of our foods!

August 22 - Catching up with Nhery

Yey! I finally saw my closest college friend,

Nhery after graduation! It was my treat at SM North. We first plunged ourselves in videoke @ Worlds of fun! We sang 5 songs each and a duet! haha! ;)

Then we ate at Kangaroo Jack! I didn't know there's a merienda buffet there and it is just less than 200php per person. How cool was that?!:) Then we chatted. I love this reunion because we are able to catch up with each other. We got our desserts from Yogi Yogurt. (So funny our dessert is pricier than our main course :P) I am very looking forward for our 2nd reun

August 24 & 25 - Cars 2 and Tween Academy Movie LeviJen Date

It's my first time to watch a movie in theaters for two days in a row!:P

These were unplanned dates! There is really an advantage when I have morning shifts, I can have these dates! :P

September 1 - Las Paellas Date

Again, this was unexpected. We really want to eat here because Levs wanted to try their gambas, we even planned to eat in this resto on Levs' bday but they were closed at 8pm(so early!!).

Well, we got disappointed because we really expected a lot. Nevertheless, we will never know until we try it, right? It was an experience, though.

September 5 - Pre-celebration of LeviJen's Happy 4 years @ Oceanpark

Yey! It's both our first time to go here! This magical trip was one of my 3 anniversary gifts to my love!

As you can see, we were so happy to see the beautiful marine life in our country. It was all magical and awesome moments.

We visited Oceanarium, then tried Glass Boatride and FishSpa (which is very tickling). We even tried there 4d ride (forgot its name).

Sadly we didn't get to watch the Sealion show, the Musical Fountain show and Jellies. Next time on October and forward when there is Trails in Antarctica available. :P Indeed, it was one of a kind experience.

September 6 - Happy 4th Anniversary, LeviJen!

Yey! I presented my 2nd gift to my love, it was a special video! Here's the link: Happy 4 years! Feel free to comment and like! ;)

Then I gave him a personalized cake + breadtalk's cheese floss!

His anniversary gift for me was a massage @ TonTon Massage, a bouquet of flowers with STARGAZERS and dinner at The Heat, Edsa Shangrila hotel. How awesome was that!:P Sweetness! Thank you for an unforgettable day, honey!:*

September 10 - Glamorous @ 60: My Mom's 60th Birthday Celebration

This was really recent! (it was 2 days ago only) My mom really does not look like a 60-year old lady, isn't she? :>

We planned a surprise party for mom!;)

I made a special video presentation for mom but can't upload it, my net's so slow!:(

The cake was so glamorous and delicious! The design was made by my big sister! It was all so elegant! OMG! I'm so proud of us all! And it was the first time that daddy gave flowers to my mom!;) It was really purplish fab and glam day! ;)

September 11 - Zombadings Day

Again, an unplanned movie date with my siblings after the Feast Pasig. We watched Zombadings 1: Patayin sa shokot si Remington! weeee! It was so funny! We tried to sit in the lower box in front wherein we were seated in a very comfortable and soft couch! What-an-experience!;)

Oh yes. My life is so awesome and I am very grateful!:)

I had valuable time with my family, boyfriend, friends and co-workers.

As you all know, this is my personal blog.

I want to express my feelings, to share my life stories for future purposes.

I know in my previous posts (super old posts, to be specific), I said my blogging reasons:

1. When I want to remember something in the past and blogged about it, I just visit my archives.

2. When I'm sad and I just want to flashback memory, I check this blog.

3. I just want to express what's inside my heart and my mind (but not all)

I remember when I was a teenager, especially in my highschool days, I always blog. As in, everyday, this blog is super updated.

But you know, I have to limit now. Sorry for that ok.

So back on my life stories, I will share what happened in my life lately:

Every year, we always celebrate our (me and my siblings) birthdays! There's no miss!

Recent birthday celebrations are unique because I have work, all of us have work, each of us is assigned to a food for every celebration. It is not only birthdays but also special days like Mother's and Father's day.

Here's is when we celebrated Mother's day:

I bought Fruits in ice cream (so yummy icecream!!).

I don't have a copy when we had Father's day celeb. awts :(

July 3 - Transformed Sunday

It's my second time to watch a movie in Imax! Now, I'm with Levi's siblings!:)

We watched Transformers 3! Wooohoo!

I was really excited with this movie.. but sad to say, I liked the 2nd installment more.

Levi treated his siblings, how sweet! xD But not me! Yes, I'm not a sibling, I know! harhar!

This is after we went to Feast Pasig.

Then it's time Levi treated me, ofcourse with his siblings!

We ate at MannHann!

I was super full! I love Yang Chow rice! As you noticed, Levi and I were wearing purple. Weee.

It's super coincidence. How sweet again. Sorry for being mushy!:P

July 16 - Smokin' Saturday with CoE

This was the time we get our graduation pictures. I went to school with Levi, Jeng and King to surprise visit Sir Ricky. We gave him brownies as a simple gift. I missed PLM, err, I missed schooling!:P

Then we went to SM Manila and ate dinner with some old CoE friends @ Gerry's Grill!

July 23 - Kuya JB's Birthday

My Kuya JB's birthday was July 20 so we celebrated it on a weekend so all of us are home.

This was super food filled celebration. As I said, each of us was assigned to a food. I was assigned for the cake! I bought two red ribbon cakes, (July 20 and July 23). ^_^

I love all the foods especially the shrimpies cooked by Kuya JB!

July 27 - Captain America Day

My boyfriend and I watched this movie on its opening day (last full showing) @ Rob Galleria. We didn't reserve tickets. Honestly, we didn't plan to watch it and I really didn't expect much.

And you know what, it's worth the watch! Especially on its last part.

We really didn't know there's something at the end of the credits but people around us are not going out, so Levi observed it and we decided to say.

And boom, we'll watch out for The Avengers next year!:)

August 7 - Ate's Birthday

This was the advanced celebration of my big sister's bday.

Today is actually her birtday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PIW!:)

I bought a 20" pizza by Jugno's Monster Pizza!

Weee. I bought Kerygma Conference tickets 3 weeks ago!

I always forgot to say that on FB or tweet that on Twitter!

I'm excited for November!:) I'll be glorious!!

I'll give you a hint when I'm in the office:

Hahaha! I'm eating sky flakes there!:) That's HAPPY, my hp laptop and REDDY, my red mouse!:)
