My Most Fruitful Vacay

 I must say, for all times I flew home the latest 3 weeks vacation was the most fruitful (from 2nd to end of April). 

Why? 3 things. 

1. Attended my ulti kpop group concert in the Philippines - yes it's not BLACKPINK but TREASURE! 
2. Our whole family reunited after 9 years!
3. My sister and I went to Japan for 5 days

Common denominator other than spending a lot is super HAPPINESS OVERLOAD! 

Yes with the "super" and "overload". 

This is literally the time I must say short but sweet. 

My first week was literally work from home and then came Friday & Saturday when I went to TREASURE concert in MoA Arena and felt YOUNG at heart hahaha! 

After the fun and amazing 2 nights, my bones were aching hahaha I was jumping and shouting but all WORTH it. Naiyak nga ako after ng concerts. It was unforgettable and beautiful. Special thanks to my Honey who gave me a VIP Soundcheck ticket as Christmas gift (ganito na ang regaluhan haha)

The week after was when all of us are complete from UAE and Australia to PH. Last time we were complete was my big bro's wedding. I saw my nephew for the first time. We had a family pictorial which served as our bonding.

We also went to Cecilia Resort in Tanay Rizal to unwind and feel the nature. Super fun we have 3 cute babies with us - I hope more to come hehe! 

Then a week of Japan experience happened with my sister Chu! It was my 2nd time to visit and it never fails. I never planned and expected to come to Japan this year but odds were in my favor when e-visa was launched to UAE residents. And then boom after 4 days, approved! 

Going to a place like Japan is fulfilling and you can't get over it. Even until now (after 2 weeks) I kept thinking of the food and hospitality - the experience itself. I will definitely go back!!! Take me back hahaha! 

All in all, it was a well spent time with family of course. 

I better save again to experience these beautiful moments and hopefully to print photos.

What an interesting date and a super busy day for me. 

It’s Friday night and I’m all alone at home with my two cats hahaha. My introvert self is so happy. 

I always pray for happiness and peace of mind. Thankfully I am feeling it even when I’m alone but not lonely :) 

Though I need to pause and give myself to hibernate with everything. Just hours ago, I totally forgot that I haven’t eaten! Imagine hahaha.

I need to prioritize myself more and remind me of my younger self like the url of this space - ilabmyself. Love myself more. 

I have so many things on my mind, so many questions - why I’m doing this and such, why am I holding on, what’s the next steps etc.

Uncertainty is scary. 

Live in the moment but until when. 

I have to cherish life and don’t worry too much.

Stay happy myself, need to freshen up.

In Our Area

I was a casual kpop listener starting with 2ne1 when Sandara / Dara was part of (yes, 2009 i'm such an OG)

I got curious, she was so famous in PH.. it's a new world and was interesting.

I went to Seoul, Korea last January 2020 and bough few little things of Blackpink. 

Then came the pandemic which started my craze / seriousness about kpop with TREASURE and BLACKPINK. The rest is history.

Bought merch, kpop albums, lightsticks - I even have a Twitter stan account haha! 

Also had few giveaways in Youtube and Instagram about them. Gosh. I even donated and voted. 

Why? They made me sane and happy during the pandemic. They effectively entertain me and at the same time stressing me with some fan wars hahaha. 

Anyway, to cut the story short, I just attended BLACKPINK Concert in Abu Dhabi last January 28 2023 in Etihad Park with my boyfriend Levi and her sister Jas. I was able to attend their online concert but this is different. I was disappointed on myself for not buying the VIP because my reason was I will be standing (my old body will be aching hahaha). 

I still enjoyed it in Gen Ad. We did not even wait too long like we went there 1.5-2 hours before the concert? hahaha the tita in me is showing really. 

I got teary eyed when the show started - I was happy. They inspire and motivate me. I love them all and their songs. I hope they renew their contracts in YG and stay together as 4. 

My first concert was 2NE1 in Manila wayback 2011. I was with my sister that time in Araneta and this Born Pink in Abu Dhabi was my second kpop concert. And you know what will be the third? It is for TREASURE in April and bought VIP Soundcheck - I will be alone and will be standing for long hours. OMG. 

Better book my flights now. Wish me luck as I went home this December - January 2023 for 6 weeks. 

It may cost a lot of money but the joy and thrill lasts for a lifetime.
