Stronger in 2018

“2018 will be the year of MORE love, life and stability.”
- says me from my first post of 2018.

I believe I have reached this testament.
- More love means less hate, more forgiveness and understanding.
- More life means more happiness, less posts? Haha since I am too productive.
- More stability - out of the 3, this is the less since I resigned from work.

Basically, my 2018 was a deciding factor, a game changer in terms of my relationships.

MYSELF
- Continued taking care of myself through skincare :)
- Travelled in a new country: Armenia last March
- Visited Australia twice this year in Darwin (June) and Sydney (December)
- I believe I saved and invested this year but it should have been more. Hopefully on next year, in God’s discernment, I will invest more :)

FAMILY
- Had an opportunity to go home two times, created memories with my loving family
- First time to see my baby niece Nate in person when I visited her with my big sistah in Darwin on her 1st birthday
- My parents went to Dubai for the first time and I am so happy and proud
- Had our family yearly gift giving and my first time to experience it :)

PARTNER
- I personally believe that we are stronger now and our relationship is getting better
- I am still hopeful that it will take on the next level in God’s perfect timing

WORK
- Resigned from my more than 5 year company, so happy with the chance to work with them and as they say, you have to move on if there are other opportunities to grow and learn
- Risky yet exciting, can’t wait on my next level

BUSINESS
- Astrid & Rose is booming, so thankful with the customers and got so kilig with their positive feedback.
- I’m becoming more nice and kinder when responding :)

GOD
- Grateful to explore several new Churches ❤️ in Tagaytay, Sucat and Sydney
- Sadly, Feast Al Barsha went hiatus that’s why I was also inactive in my service. Hopefully I will be able to serve and tithe next year, to give back.

This year, I had more gain (especially on the weight). I will slow down and wait for the perfect time.

I was agressive yet I don’t regret anything.
Now, I know better and I know what to do.

Help me, God.
I pray for more blessings in my life and my family.
I pray for peace of mind, good health and financial abundance.

Cheers to 2018!
Can’t wait what’s in store for 2019 :)

Mabuhay, Pilipinas!

I am back to my home country, the Philippines this December.
Compared on previous years, I went home earlier (not Christmas eve) :D

It was the first time I didn't sleep for more than one day but it was worth it!
After landing, my whole family and I went straight to Tagaytay! :)

Super relaxing. This is what I need.
Fresh air + windy weather + beautiful ambiance = Recharged mode.

It was definitely a great start of my homecoming.

More dates, bonding and food galore happened.
In a span of one week, I (unfortunately) gained weight.

Hopefully, I can minimize my eating which is difficult especially that this season is more on reunions and gatherings.

I will update you more soon.
Wait for my year end post!

Happy Goodbye

More than 4 years in a company, I am too glad to survive!
So weird that saying goodbye feels so right.

I am now free.
No more drama, no more walkout, no more shouting, no more tears (hopefully).
I am at ease.

Thank You Lord.
Through this experience, I gained strength, patience, and many more..

I will miss them, the company, the office, the people I worked with..

I know things will get better :)

Level 29

Hello world! I’m now in Level 29 of life!
Yes, I celebrated my birthday last week with my loved ones!
Thankful with another year of life God had given me.

My life will turn 180 degrees, I am worried yet excited.
I know I can fly much higher!

Grateful with the dining out with fam and friends.
I gained more memories and more fats. Hahaha.

Birthday Salubong

Thank you, Tiea for the gifts and surprise!

Capping off my birthday with my Red squad haha

So much things going on my mind.
Next year, I will level up to the big 3.
I am very hopeful on the next chapters of my life.

So many thoughts, wishes and prayers.
So many goals and plans.
Hope to get it in God’s perfect timing.

My mantra: “Worth the wait”.
My patience will persevere as it always does.

Thank You Lord for everything, for this temporary life.
I pray for more happiness, more results, more healthy and special memories.

I can do all things with God who strengthens me.
Mwamwa.

Why am I so quiet?

I think one of the reasons why I don't blog lately is because the Blogger app in IoS is not updated, hence, I deleted it.
Anyway, thankfully, I  had a chance to update you/myself about my life.

September is ending for this year.
Two big celebrations happened in my life: birthday of my Honey and our 11th Anniversary.
Hopefully, I will have a chance to update this blog with the photos.
Actually, this blog itself is a reminder for myself because I tend to forget things unless I wrote it down.

Simple yet special.
This is how I described how we celebrate these occasions.
I am happy and grateful with what I have and I thank the Lord for all of it.

Cakes, fine dining, gift of gold and happy smiles, you name it.
More than the material things, I go for the emotions.

Thank you, Honey for everything.
My life here in Dubai has been an exciting roller coaster ride because of you! Lessons have been learned and our relationship got stronger, right?

So how am I, seriously?
In terms of career, there are changes but I know it is for the better.
It is risky, yet exciting.
There may be losses, but more on gains.

I will bounce back and will rock it! Stay tuned :)

What happened?

It's been more than 2 months. What happened?
I remember I blogged what happened to me for the past months.
I don't know why it didn't publish and it was not in the drafts.
So sad.

Hopefully, I will be able to share.
So many memories happened.
I had a week vacation in PH and Australia.
Met my baby niece for the first time.

So beautiful things happened, I cannot wait to share it.

See you later :)

Hello Darwin!

Did you know that my section the most in my High school days is Darwin?
It is the same name of another state I visited in Australia :)

It’s my niece Nate’s 1st birthday, it’s a perfect time to see her finally for the first time. I grabbed the opportunity even if it is just a week leave and there was delay.

It’s all worth it :)

At first, ofcourse, Nate was afraid.
After few tries, I was able to play with her hahaha
Take note, I know now how to carry a baby #proud haha

Then, the exploring began!
I’m blessed to visit Darwin with my big sistah!

It’s a work and play since most of the time, we were shopping for stocks and orders LOL

First stop: Crocodiles and Litchfield National Park with our brother’s community friends.

Honestly, I just learned that I have fears on crocodiles (or I was too overthinking). My sister laughed at me, OMG. Proud that I was able to endure it!

Overall, it was well spend vacation, worth every penny and time.
So happy for my brother’s family, on how they are connected with God and friends.
It is definitely your choice if you want to expand your relationships and have a life away from home.

I am happy to finally meet Nate and see how kind hearted and simple baby girl she is.
Hopefully, she will remember me when I get to see her again soon!

Thank You Lord for this rare and unforgettable opportunity! Can’t wait to come back :)

MAY the odds be in my favor

This Month has been the most productive so far.

I am juggling work, businesses and private life. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful and loving it!

But before I dive more, let me go back last month when my lovely sister and I celebrated her birthday!

We ate @ Miu and had dessert @ Cheesecake Factory.

Also, I attended birthday celebrations of my LG loves!

Had movie dates! This is our version of "Never Not Love You" hahaha!

Avengers Night with Aloria fam!

Had lunch outs with colleagues, like this!

Grateful to God that I am spending more quality time with my Honey :)

Correct, there are many reasons to be happy.

Going back, this month, I decided to go for my plan. And now, I am waiting for the result. Hoping for the best and God's plan for me.

I wish that the odds be in my favor. God will provide. Aja!

As they say, don't worry on things you have been praying for. So, trust in God's plans and right timing. Diba!

I pray for breakthroughs, for more success and real happiness.

Life is beautiful. Thank You God for letting me spend my life to the fullest. I am looking forward for more! :)

PS: there are too many photos, I am hoping to print these beautiful memories for future use and records. How I wish I will be able to track. Oh well. Let's see.

Better April

It's been a while as I've been too productive these past few days.

I have launched a new online business (www.instagram.com/scentsdubaiph) where we offer Authentic perfumes, Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secrets scents. My package is on the way to the PH and I'm excited to share it to our lovely customers!

It's April, meaning my Chu's birthday is coming up! ❤️❤️ So happy, we see each other every other day :)

I also had a chance to go to Abu Dhabi and discovered Louvre! Got so inspired with Art & Culture ☺️

We experienced Korean dining in Han Kook Restaurant, so lovely! Annyeong!

So blessed to experience two birthday bash on weekends!

1. First time to attend a first birthday here in Dubai, my landlady's baby girl Maryiel's birthday. Participated in a naughty and fun game hahaha and had buffet!

2. Just yesterday, I attended my LGmate and friend Jo's birthday in her house. So much laughter and discoveries. I'm grateful to spend my weekend with these beautiful ladies. TYL!

PS: Super sarap talaga ng KareKare!

And.. The last but not least, thank You Lord as Levi & I had a better relationship as better. Hopefully, it will continue and may God bless us!

Excited for the coming months, hoping for the best and strength!

Barev Armenia

Spontaneity. This is what happened when my friends wayback in college who are in Dubai as well decided to go out of country, as we always planned.

Finally, it became real.
With a leap of faith, we went to Armenia!

Just few planning and help of travel agency (which I seldom avail), the trip was successful that some of our friends want to go to this beauty country.

Let the photos do the talking :)

We spent few days to explore the place and their cuisine. With its affordability, we enjoyed it!

First time to experience SNOW! It was freezing cold, -4degC! It like needles are piercing my ears and I had rashes on mt cheeks after.

Then, we explored the city of Yerevan!

So many photos gosh! Thanks to my photographer friend Juleh and my model friend Pam for the shots!

Thank you for being with me in this trip!
Super chill as the weather, super refreshing to walk and see & super cozy to dine!

We also celebrated Pam's birthday! HBD Pam!

Thank You Lord for the opportunity to travel and love life more!

More adventures to come! :)

Mushy

February for me coincides with Valentines. Hahaha. I dedicate this post to the love of my life.

Thank You Lord for making our relationship better and hopefully no more drama please? Hahaha.

I have two new baby rabbits, siblings of Snorly! Thank You Honey for the sweet surprise and pakulo! Thank You for making me feel special and girl na girl. LOL

We had Teppanyaki for Valentines! Yes, we ate all! That's why our cheeks are like that HAHA

Then, bonus part was a short trip to a beach, another pakulo!

Thanks Honey! What a sweet gesture! Then watched Black Panther. :)

More dates to come, Honey!
Hoping for more love and life! Mwaaa!

Jampacked

It's been a while as I've been busy. It is seldom that I get to chance to stay at home for one whole day whew! But I'm thankful to be productive and happy.

These are some of the highlights in Dubai coming back from vacation.

Family bondings, corporate events, light group bonding, friendly and not so friendly dates HAHAHA!

I'm excited for the coming days. I love it that I have a mantra to go somewhere (atleast 1 country) I've never been to every year. And it is happening. YAYY.

Thank You Lord for all blessings. It was a tough and rough road but I'm still here, alive and kicking. I can do all things because I know You are here with me.

Can't wait for more. It is an exciting life indeed!
