New role

New role, new place, new shiftmates, new task..
What do I mean?

I was selected to be part of a new team for our program.
They didn't ask for our choice, so I halfheartedly accepted it.
Why half?

CONS

  • No technicalities involved.
  • Others think that this role is so easy. They underestimate it.

PROS

  • After 2 years of doing technical things, this is something new.
  • I can add and test my abilities.
  • New friends, people to know.
  • This will enhance my leadership and confidence.

As you observed, there are more pros than cons. I just think of the brighter side of things.
They may think that our task is easier than theirs, but this is a new opportunity that I should, at least, try it before declining it, right?

We have 3 months being in this role. And wish me luck.
I know I can do it! Hopefully, there will be growth in me in both personal and professional terms.

God, I pray that You won't abandon me.
I know that everything happens for a reason. Please guide me and give the motivation for this new role.
I trust You. :)

Is it my birthday? HAHA One on one shots with CC girls

Then came May 25 when my sister had to go on a friend's wedding and we, her sisters, styled her vintage look. :) Does it look like one? Our big sistah did the make up! Oh la la!

Red Vintage Dress

The whole look

And just this May 26, I assisted in preparing food packages for my big brother's venture, "Xien Xian's".
How I wish those were mine! HAHAHA!
a pack of food oh lala!

Just 50php for this pack? OMG!
Those "siomai" are so delicious, very authentic and it's worth the penny! You can choose from Beef (I love this the most!), Pork, Japanese or Chicken siomai!
You want it for your seminars, parties or meetings? Call 4568172 for bulk orders/inquiries! :)

Life is FUN!

Having happy relationships is a blessing from God.

I am thankful that I have my family and friends who make me happy and make my life fun and exciting!

Just last April 26, I attended  Unix Team building at Loreland farm resort, Antipolo! OMG! It was extreme! I experienced those I can't imagine I can do like the Mud slide! Hahaaha! I'm proud of it! :)

Then my sister had a Yakimix experience after we bought Ensogo vouchers! It was delicious and we were so full! ;)

And after work last May 11, I filed a leave to go to my CoEmates summer outing at Dalitiwan, Resort! It was an experience! Why? Because the water is sooo cold and the falls is relaxing (I'm like having a massage)! And when it rained, I stepped on the stones and I felt like I'm in Amazing Race! Hahaha! It was fun and unforgettable! Thanks!:)

And finally we celebrated Mother's day at Ling Nam, Congressional! It was a special dinner for a very special person in our lives, our Mother! ❤

My summer was well spent! I felt it even if I have work! And that's one I like in my life right now, Work-Life balance! Thank you and I am eager to have more bondings to come! Yeheyyy! :))

Got inked for the second time

Yesterday was our National Elections.
Out of 12 senatorial candidates, I only chose 7! Why? Because I think they are ones who are deserving.

Sadly, those who have name recall and famous win the election. Oh well. Atleast my conscience is clear.

This is my second time to vote. Unlike last 2010 which was smooth sailing, yesterday was a 2 hour chaos. Thankfully, I'm with my sister so that was a mini bonding for us.

The weird thing was I only spend 5-8 minutes to vote! How was that!

Hopefully all their plans, promises and goals will be executed well for the betterment of the Philippines.

Yes, there is still hope. May God bless our country!

Knowledge is Power

One of the things I am grateful is my financial education.
In the Philippines, this kind of education is not a typical one that is why several have problems with money.
I am thankful that I have my sister who opened my eyes to this issue.
I dedicatedly follow the 70-20-10 rule which 70% of my income will go to my expenses, 20% to my saving/investments and 10% to my tithes for the Lord.
Now I am expanding my knowledge by reading financial books like Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Vic Garcia's Kontento ka na ba sa Kaperahan mo? (Are you contented with your money?).
I am eager to learn! I will have to know, then to act and repeatedly act on the proper things to do for financial freedom.
Thank You Lord for my financial literacy, I know I will be good in the future!
I have my life insurance, savings, investments like Mutual Funds and I want more!
I am also supporting my sister's advocacy. Please visit her blog: Style your Finance.
I also shared some of my personal experiences there!:)
True enough, knowledge is power when applied. :)
